I have over 30 years of practice, in which I have gained valuable experience working with a very wide variety of patients, addressing the medical conditions they face. My method of treating patients involves dedicating time and energy from the start to get a full and holistic intake of the patient's history and current state so that my work can address deeply-rooted issues that can contribute both to chronic and acute conditions. I combine unique complementary approaches designed to set the course for whole body healing. Carmela is fluent in Hebrew and is conversational in Spanish.

As part of The Acupuncture Healing Center, I focus on holistic healing and pure ingredients from nature. I provide facials and skin treatments using high-quality, Eminence Organics products and non-invasive, gentle methods to naturally bring vitality back into your skin. I studied to be an esthetician at the Chapel Hill Aveda Institute and am licensed by the State Board of North Carolina.
Jonny Groger, LMBT & Transformative Coach
Jonny enjoys working with the therapeutic aspects of massage and specializes in a combination of trigger point, deep tissue, and myofacial techniques. They believes that our physical and emotional systems are deeply intertwined and honors this connection by intentionally creating space geared towards each individual's specific needs and goals. Jonny is also passionate about weight training and puzzles, as they like to find order amongst chaos.
