Insurance procedures
For all insurance types (except Cigna under ASH) we require that you pay for your appointment in full on the day of service. Our office will submit this to your insurance company. You will then receive a reimbursement check once the claim has been approved.
For Cigna under AHS: We do take Cigna, just not the portion under ASH. If you have Cigna under ASH, we will not bill your insurance. You are required to pay for your appointment in full on the day of service. No insurance will be submitted.
Important things to keep in mind:
Leaving your phone number allows us to reach out more quickly and give you a more personalized experience.
The initial visit will last approximately two hours.
We recommend that you be well-hydrated for your visit.
It is a good idea to eat a light meal or snack at least one hour prior to the treatment.
Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal for acupuncture treatments. You may come dressed or bring clothing with you and change here at the clinic.
Please bring a list of the medications, vitamins and supplements you currently take with dosage amounts noted.
DIRECTIONS: After you turn onto Conner Drive from Willow, take the third left turn (this is the last left turn) before entering the apartment complex (Sunstone Apartment). There should be a sign that says '“Professional Village.” Follow that parking lot straight back until you get to the third building on your right which is a greenish grey color. We are on the ground floor of Building 109 in Suite 103.
What to expect at your first visit
When you arrive at the clinic, we will give you an intake form to fill out, which includes a health history. The form is similar to what you might be required to fill out at any medical visit. After you complete this form, you will meet with the practitioner of your choice. Together, you will discuss your health history and current issues. Based on this discussion, the practitioner will develop a treatment protocol that is tailored specifically for you and you will receive a full acupuncture treatment.
